Sultan Dé
LOGO DESIGN
Logo design for LA-based R&B artist Sultan Dé, built around a concept the artist brought to the table: prayer hands, with the meeting lines forming his name. The idea evolved into something more considered — the palms themselves become the letterforms, so the gesture and the signature are one and the same. The project resolved into two distinct variations, each carrying the same core concept with a different visual weight.
The Ashland Collective
A visual identity for The Ashland Collective, a music-focused creative collective and label built around long-term artist development and community. The name comes from Ashland Avenue — the street where the founder grew up — so the identity needed to carry that sense of personal origin and belonging without becoming literal or sentimental.
The logomark translates the idea of home through gesture not just architecture: upside-down hands forming both a house silhouette and the letter "A." The wordmark layers foundation, community, and identity into a single form that feels inhabited rather than engineered.
